How We Give Back

How we give back

Electrical Plus is more than just an electrical company. We genuinely care about our clients and want to make sure they can succeed in their daily life. We have worked with and continue to work with many local organizations and businesses, such as North Star, Exton’s and Western Chester County’s Chamber of Commerce, Historic Yellow Springs, Ice Line, and more! We also pride ourselves on our local business networking, where we help connect business when in need of certain services. Electrical Plus frequently sponsors events and raises money for North Star of Chester County.

North Star

North Star of Chester County, formerly Interface Housing Assistance Corporation of Chester County, guides Chester County’s single working parents with dependent children, who are at risk of homelessness, toward stability and financial independence. They help their participant families remain in clean, safe, and affordable housing as they work to secure their future through a program of financial assistance, mentoring, and supportive services. They work with single mothers or fathers who have dependent children living with them, providing up to three years of services. These single parents receive personal financial coaching, attend workshops, and have access to services of other agencies who specialize in job skills training, free income tax preparation, savings programs, and much more. North Star also educates the public on the needs of single parents and their dependent children and actively advocates for their participating families' educational, vocational, and other family needs.

We frequently sponsor and attend events held by North Star throughout the year. We also help raise money to help offset the costs for the participating families. We want to support the families in need as much as possible. Our awesome owner is also on the board of directors of North Star.

The mission of the Exton Region Chamber of Commerce is to advance the economic success of the membership and community by providing relationship building, marketing, education, advocacy, and community outreach opportunities.

Exton Chamber of Commerce

The Exton Region Chamber of Commerce was established in the late 1960s with the purpose of lobbying Harrisburg to construct the Route 30 Bypass. Harold Martin, a founding member and former Director Emeritus of the Chamber, and the late Senator Robert J. Thompson worked tirelessly to transform Exton from a country crossroads to a commercial center. It took approximately 16 years before construction of the bypass began and another decade before it was completed on December 22, 1995. Just think, the road you ride on to get from Malvern to Downingtown is there because a group of businesspeople had the vision to see the need, and the work ethic to make it happen.

The mission of the Exton Region Chamber of Commerce is to advance the economic success of the membership and community by providing relationship building, marketing, education, advocacy, and community outreach opportunities. For over 40 years, the Exton Region Chamber of Commerce has been focused upon meeting the diverse needs of its member businesses and has been fostering the economic growth, prosperity, and exceptional quality of life of the Exton Region. The Chamber’s philosophy is to be “volunteer-led, staff facilitated.” Because of this structure, and the incredible work ethic of our members, the Exton Region Chamber of Commerce can host more events, offer more services, and provide more member benefits than most chambers of a similar size.

Our owner, Jeremy, is also on the Board of Directors of the Exton Regional Chamber of Commerce. Electrical Plus regularly attends meetings and helps plan events for the community, such as the Career and Training Fair that was held on March 5, 2020, at the Chester County Technical College High School. Jeremy prides himself on giving back to the community in many different ways.

Ice Line and Method Hockey is a local West Chester hockey rink and work out center used by youth leagues, school teams, and the public.

Other Ways We Help

We continue to help our local community in more ways than sponsoring and attending the events of those two organizations. We also regularly attend and support the Western Chester County Chamber of Commerce. We also help connect business to potential clients and potential partners. Electrical Plus is not just an electrical company helping our clients with their electrical needs but we have a range of other professional tradesmen who we can refer our clients to for all of their home service needs. On top of that, we volunteer our electrical work to local organizations and places of business.

Historic Yellow Springs is a non-profit historical site that is home to Chester County Springs Studio, Yellow Springs Cultural Center, and the Lincoln House. We regularly service and repair the buildings' electrical systems and donate all materials used. Ice Line and Method Hockey is a local West Chester hockey rink and work out center used by youth leagues, school teams, and the public. We recently donated our time and materials to fix-up and repair the ice rink for the youth hockey players.

Electrical Plus is more than just an electrical company, we care about our customers, support them, and give back to them along with the community in as many ways we can. Our professional tradesmen can refer their clients based on their needs. We work closely with organizations and businesses in our community to help provide the best services for customers. Electrical Plus prides themselves on giving back to the community, feel free to reach out to us if your organization or business is holding events or needs sponsorships!
